As keen cyclists ourselves we believe the Languedoc, aka "the real South of France", is the perfect base for a cycling holiday. The combination of the Mediterranean climate, traffic free roads and rolling countryside is ideal for road biking, mountain biking or just some gentle cycling around the vineyards with perhaps a tasting at one of our recommended wineries.
Directly from the village you can ride in any direction on small quiet roads set amongst stunning scenery of the Espinouse mountains and the regions finest vineyards of Faugeres, Coteaux de Languedoc and St Chinian. We are not in the Alps or Pyrenees but can still provide some challenging climbs and several of the Tour de France Languedoc stages can be ridden from our base.
We have extensive knowledge of the area and have been riding here for several years to help you get the most out of your holiday. Guests can browse through our selection of recommended routes based on their ability, fitness and preferred terrain and these are available as an easy to follow route card or can be downloaded to Garmin and most other GPS devices.
Should you experience any problems whilst out riding, we are always on hand to offer support and advice or alternatively for larger groups we can provide a guiding service to ensure you get the most out of your riding time. Let us know how long you want to come for and your groups expectations and we will put together an itinery to suit whether it be challenging climbs in the Haut Languedoc Parc or building up the km's on the Mediterranean plains surrounding Beziers.
Your cycling holiday in the Languedoc can be based on b&b, half board or even self catering in our next door gite. Prices start at just 60.00€ per night based on two people sharing a room including breakfast. Click on the links to the right for more information.
